To have some form of adverse credit or blip on their credit report in not uncommon at all, however for many potential buyers who have some form of adverse credit they feel as if they are unable to get a mortgage because of this as they have for instance been declined by their bank.
This is far from the case – mortgage advisers such as ourselves have access to over 100 UK lenders, many of which specialise in providing lending to clients who have previously had some sort of credit issue.
We are a mortgage advice company who specialise in assisting clients with previous credit issues –
Missed payments, defaults, CCJ’s, Bankruptcy are a few examples of advise credit we regularly come across and are able to secure mortgages for.
No credit history – it is also common, especially with first time buyers who have lived with their parents and have never had credit for them to not show on searches or have a low score. This can mean these clients are not able to secure lending from every lender.
Not only do we look after you at the initial contact, we look after you for the longer term. If you have a blip in your credit this stays on your credit report for 6 years so when we are recommending your initial mortgage we will always be looking to the future when making that recommendation by putting future plans in place to look after your mortgage properly.
